He is an editorial board member of the prestigious Journal of Science and Medicine in Sports and a member of the review board of the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery (JAOOS).
An avid researcher, Dr. Hohmann has published over 200 research papers in internationally renowned journals and authored five books, and co-authored 10 chapters for various books dealing with Orthopedic Sports Medicine. He holds a Ph.D. in Orthopedic Sports medicine and a higher academic medical doctorate in Orthopedic Sports Medicine Biomechanics.
Dr. Hohmann has also served as the team physician for various professional and semi-professional sporting teams and individual athletes. He is also UAE General Civil Aviation Authority-licensed Aeromedical Specialist.
